You can manually enter a patient's contact details to send them a message. This can be useful if you are on a computer where you do not have access to your EHR and so you can't use the other search methods.
- On the Contact Patients page, select Manually enter patient's details.
- Enter the patient's details in the boxes. You must enter the patient's first and last name, their NHS number (without spaces), and either of their phone number or email address.
- Click Add to recipient list.
- You can now compose and send your message to the patient.
